Infobank
By Xavier Vagus
He was a Barack Obama democrat
a Teddy Roosevelt republican
drinking gas station coffee
in a paisley purple cardigan
he ripped open a roll of Wonka spree
when the cop came in the corner grocery
like blueberry cake
in a swarm of bumble bees
hummingbird eyeballs zipped and melted
a cryptic plastic beetle popped rainbow mesh
the employee bathroom was a maze of nets
and rippled like exhausted bronco flesh
the can bounced off the tile
like the tin beat in a juice song
the digitized laser executed the perpetrator
like a stick figure morphed into a palm frond
his badge ate at the light with golden teeth
as he edged towards the frantic electric soup
it cut through a wall of chocolate
and left a rumpled navy pile of burning goop
the rain of sparkle drops lasted for a minute
as she stepped through the plasma
in sunglasses and exo mirrored leather
straight as the night into the miasma
the plastic purple beetle scuttled to the
infocommunicator
among the scattered spree
phosphorous lipstick in a kiss released the
switch
and the locks on the vault in the bank were free
